Hello from Greg and Sherry Davidson in Lima, Peru

The red and white tent stands again in Villa El Salvador, Peru. The weeks leading up to this campaign were full of challenges, disturbing events and things that were meant to bring discouragement. It was very difficult to proceed each day as each day that came brought a new problem. Although our enemy is not all-knowing, it is at least becoming apparent that he did not want us to come to this place proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Problems have not only plagued our lives
recently but also the lives of other members of our tent campaign association. By faith we all have continued, trusting that our Lord would guide us through the difficulties.
We are privileged to be hosting a medical mission team. Monday, we combined this ministry with that of the tent. Seventeen people make up our group who are here to help. In three days at the red and white tent in Villa El Salvador, the medical team has ministered to over 1100 people. They have worked in unity and without complaint and we are very thankful that they are here doing what they are.

We refuse to say "unbelievable" about what is occurring. We choose to believe that God can and is doing what He is doing right now in Villa El Salvador. Through the presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God will save souls. The Gospel is being presented and in three days of one-on-one presentations and one night of preaching, over 300 people have been saved. How awesome it is to have the opportunity to witness this harvest of souls by our God.
What an awesome combination this is that God is using, the medical (physical) ministry combined with the tent (or spiritual ministry). A well prepared group from First Baptist Church of Villa El Salvador have come armed with their swords, the Word of God. They have worked tirelessly presenting the Gospel to all who had come to see the doctors. Please pray for them as they begin a children's ministry in the afternoon on Thursday continuing through Saturday. Please pray as there are four more nights of preaching.

The combined tent campaign and medical ministry are strengthening the presence of a brand new church called "Iglesia Bautista Betania." Please pray for Pastor/ Missionary Ruel Nuñez Macahuachi, his wife Sabina (pictured to the right) and their three children, Michael, Raquel and Ester.

Please continue to pray for the medical ministry as we will be moving to our church in Manchay on Thursday.

We have two more days of medical ministry and four more days for the tent campaign in Villa El Salvador. We will appreciate your prayers and knowing that you are praying.

God bless you all. We are very thankful and grateful for all that you do in His name. Thank you for your love for our Lord Jesus.

With His love,

Greg and Sherry
