Current Prayer Requests: March 2004

Pray for the start of the 2004 academic year at Lima Baptist Theological Seminary. We hope to register 75 students or more on March 1 and 2. Dave will be the seminary director this year during Neil Heim’s furlough. Both of us are preparing new classes for this semester. (Praise God for a good start at Seminary. March 15th classes began with a student body of 86 men and women preparing to serve God more effectively in ministry. Pray for wisdom and administrative skill for David in his new role as director.)

Pray for an evangelistic campaign to be held in shanty towns around Lima March 1-5. Dave and Evelyn will both be involved translating, assisting, and witnessing during the mobile medical clinics held each day to reach out to the community meeting their physical needs and showing God’s love. Pray for C, our missionary to India, who was just commissioned by her home church on Sunday February 22, 2004. To read the comments that Evelyn shared at her commissioning service click here. Pray for her to raise her needed support during the next two months and be able to travel May 1st.
