Baptism;
Last week in Guatemala.
Dear Praying Family,
| I’m
writing this brief note to say we have had a great
last couple of weeks in
|
| Guatemala.
Last Sunday Mynor, Eric, Junior, Elisa, and several
others were baptized.
This Sunday we said goodbye at church. It has been
such a blessing to get to know this body of believers,
but it’s hard to say goodbye. |

We had an evangelistic
activity this morning. The church people walked through
Antigua handing out tracts
and witnessing. I had the privilege of praying with Soila
when she accepted the Lord. She is an older lady who has
been Catholic all her life. Please pray for her as she
begins her new life today! We leave for Peru on Wednesday and still have much to do
before we catch the plane. Please pray for us during this
transition.
We plan to send
out a Christmas letter after we arrive in Peru. Look for
pictures of the baptism. Please continue to
pray for Carmen’s health. She was in pretty bad shape
last Sunday and didn’t make it to the baptism. Apparently
she is suffering from congestive heart failure. She made
it to church today, but will probably need surgery soon.
Thank you to everyone
who contributed to the relief effort here. God provided
enough to rebuild Eric’s wall and
install a number of water filters.
Praising Him,
Jonathan & Angela Stone
