"One birth, waiting for another."

Dear Praying Family,

Born... again!
Our baby is about three weeks from her due date. Nevertheless we did celebrate a birthday yesterday. I asked you to pray for an unsaved man with whom I’ve been studying the Bible for a couple of months. His family (his wife along with his children and their spouses) have been believers for many years. He has rejected their belief in Christ for a long time. But they have been praying for him! God answers prayer! Every week our study ended with the question, “Are you ready to accept Christ as your Savior?” He finally said yes. But he wanted his family to be there when he was born again. So we gathered in his living room yesterday and with many tears all around he confessed his need for Christ and began a new life. Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for Jorge and his family. Pray also that God would provide financially as he is out of work.

Mobile Clinic
Our mobile clinic in November was a blessing to the church. We had a good group of Peruvians providing care including dentists, a midwife, and a doctor. We saw over 200 people. 52 accepted the Lord! The church is following up with more than 60 additional people who indicated an interest in spiritual things.

Housing
Please pray that God would provide us with a new place to live as soon as possible. Our landlord has significant debts with several banks and it looks like the collection process could involve “embargoing” (confiscating) the house and its contents. We really aren’t sure how urgent it is that we leave, but with a baby due in a few weeks, we would like to move now rather than later.

Thank you all for your prayers and support!

In Him,
