Dear Prayer Partners,

God continues to bless us with some wonderful meetings. It is such a privilege to share our vision for ministry in Peru with families of believers around the country. Every time we speak in a church we meet people who are interested in the ministry. We thank each of you who have encouraged us and committed to pray for us.

As many of you know I (Jon) have been working on developing a web site for the coastal Peru field council of ABWE. 15 missionary couples and several individuals are part of this team. The project has been "simmering" for a while and is finally taking shape. You may check out the new web site at www.abweperu.org. I have much work left to do, but I believe this will be a valuable resource for our missionary team and their many supporting churches.

Praise God for His provision! God has met several needs through the generous giving of believers in the churches we have visited. In our last prayer letter I shared that we are raising funds to buy property for a daughter church in Manchay. We now have about $3,200. This church plant was begun by believers from our church in Las Viñas/La Capilla. We may join a Peruvian team to develop this church plant after we arrive in Peru. God used gifts from several churches to provide $1,000 for another church plant. They will now have a temporary building! Angela’s work at the hospital is going well. We praise God that several of her coworkers are interested in spiritual things. We are giving them Bibles and answering questions. Please pray that some of them will come to know God in a personal way.

Our great God holds our future in His perfect plan. We eagerly anticipate ministry in Peru. As we look to the future, we are trusting God to provide our support by the end of this year. We are currently at 47% of our monthly support. Praise God for 90% of our O & P! Several churches are considering partnering with us. Please pray that God will provide through His people.

We are grateful to God for Angela’s work and my seminary training during the last year and a half. It is really a blessing that God has given us so many meetings and nearly half our support though we have only been on the road part time. Beginning this summer, we will be in pre-field ministry full time. Please pray that God will provide 100% of our monthly support by December.
