June Prayer Letter

At our last mobile clinic a medical team from the States visited 5 poor areas around Lima. We saw 755 patients and 78 adults made professions of faith.

Last week we had our second baptism at the Living Hope Baptist Church. This was my first time doing the baptizing. Thankfully, no one drowned! It has truly been a special blessing to lead several people to the Lord and then disciple and baptize them. We baptized 8 people this time. Please pray for God to prepare another good group of new believers for our next baptism in a couple of months.

Seminary classes are wrapping up next week. Pray for the students and teachers as we finish a semester of preparing for ministry. My Greek and Hebrew classes are going well. The pastors and lay workers in my classes are digging deeper in their Bible study and are better prepared to teach the Word of God.

Our family back in the States has been pretty anxious to see little Alison… so much so that they bought us tickets for a brief vacation in July! We also can’t wait to meet our new nieces and nephews. Kids grow so fast when you are away for years at a time! It’s hard to believe we’ve been on the mission field for 2 ½ years now. We will only be back in the Tunkhannock, PA area for about a week. We will be sharing a ministry update at Osterhout Bible Church on Sunday morning, July 22.

Our Redeemer lives and we rejoice in His faithful mercy!
