"Time for another baptism"

Dear Praying Family,

It’s time for another baptism. Please pray for the new believers in Jon’s baptism class as they prepare to obey God and declare their faith publicly next month.

Several people accepted the Lord during Easter week. Praise Him!

We had a wonderful Sunday service last week and celebrated mother’s day with 23 mothers and 81 in total attendance. We’ve bought more chairs and are squeezing larger groups into the classrooms. The school we’re meeting in has been a real blessing and has provided several opportunities for contacts with unbelievers. Please pray that God would continue to reach Peruvians in downtown Lima through our church.

This week is missions month here at Living Hope Baptist. We’re challenging the Peruvian believers for missions throughout Peru and the world. Next week a Peruvian missionary to India will be sharing her ministry with us. Pray that our church would plant more churches and send missionaries!

A medical team from the States arrives tonight and will be holding mobile clinics for two weeks. Please pray for their ministry with us this week and in northern Peru the following week. Pray that God would heal many hurts as a testimony of His love and save many souls for His glory!
