Dear Praying Family,
Just a quick note in case you’ve heard the news of
Hurricane Stan hitting Central America. We’ve had steady,
sometimes heavy rains for several days. Some areas of Guatemala
are experiencing flooding. We are fine, if a bit wet. :-)
Many people in our district live in poor, erosion-susceptible
housing on the sides of mountains. Some people from our church
are certainly in danger of loosing their homes and may be
in danger themselves from mud slides.
Please pray for those who are affected by the heavy rains.
