Dear Praying Family,

As we mentioned in our last prayer letter my parents were here last week. My mother spoke in a number of public schools on the topic of STDs and abstinence. An evangelist followed her talk with a gospel presentation and we counseled with all those who expressed a desire to accept Christ. During the week over 1,000 heard the gospel and 296 made professions of faith! What a blessing! Thank you for your prayers.

We also asked you to pray for several new believers in our church and for the salvation of their families. Eric was saved last month. His son, Junior, accepted the Lord in one of our discipleship Bible studies. Two weeks ago I reviewed a
gospel presentation with the combined adult Sunday school classes in preparation for an evangelistic activity. While everyone split up into groups to practice, I reviewed the gospel message with Eric and his wife. That Sunday Carmen became a child of God. God had prepared her heart! Many of us had been praying for her. Eric was weeping as I announced to the class that they had a new sister. There weren’t many dry eyes as everyone gathered around to welcome them into the family. Praise the Lord!

Last Sunday our adult classes spent the Sunday school hour sharing Christ in the park. Several people accepted the Lord.

Recent weeks have been an overwhelming blessing as God has been working around us. Thank you for your prayers! Rejoice with us and please pray for these many new believers.

Rejoicing in Him,
Jonathan & Angela Stone
